An important step in achieving optimal water purity is to prevent roof debris entering the tank. The WaterVault filter assembly not only diverts the first flush of dirty water, but continuously directs contaminants and larger matter to the stormwater.

WaterVault’s ancillary internal pipework has been specially designed to minimise disruption of the biological balance inside the tank and maintain optimum quality of the stored water. This will ensure the proper functioning of plumbing connections to household appliances.

• Calming inlet slows the velocity of the filtered water entering the tank and gently directs it near the tank base to minimise disturbance of sediment
• All openings in the tank, including pump delivery and power supply, are positively sealed with EPDM rubber lipseals
• Backflow valve prevents mosquitoes and other vermin from entering the tank and stops backflow of contaminated water from stormwater outlet
• Deeper tank profile provides larger depth of clean, fresh water

The Clark WaterVault is available as either non-load bearing for garden installations or as a trafficable unit for applications under driveways or parking areas. The tank riser is required for all trafficable installations and is one of the few visible signs of the system.

The WaterVault Rainsaver universal auto device delivers rainwater from the WaterVault to toilets, laundry and garden taps via an automatic pressure pump system. The unit automatically switches to mains water if the rainwater level is too low or there is a pump or power failure.
